So I just thought that I would take a moment to talk about how busy one can get. I am really working hard this month. I have alot of clients work to do.
I have three separate clients for curtains. I have four quilts that I will be quilting and then binding for the clients. and one quilt top that I have to put the borders on then it will need to be quilted ( borders are on waiting to be quilted). Have two quilts that are needing costum quilting on them and Etc. Never mind that I have some quilts that I would like to work on for myself.
How does one juggle all the work well I do it in stages. For curtains I will cut the panels out and get the linning ready. On another day I will hem the panels, next day will be putting the linning on and then sewing the side hems. The last is doing the french pleats and curtains will be finished. In between each of these stages I will be working on other work like maybe quilting a quilt or shooting a video, or putting binding on, or making a label. I think that you get the idea.
There are some days that you feel like you got nothing done. So on the days that I feel like this I will stop and look back on that day and take a look at what I had worked on. This gives me a really good perspective on what I did what is left to do and were I am at with each job.
This is what most of my days are like, but the last few weeks I have been recieving bolts of fabric pricing them and cutting fat quarters and getting them entered onto the computer. All between the work that I have to get done ( curtains, quilting quilts, making labels etc.)
Just a few of the fabrics that have arrived.
The dime is there to give you an idea of size of pattern.
I still have to get all the batiks photographed and entered. Will show you some of them in a futur blog.
Well off to work I go not sure if I will be whistling.
