Continue with hooked on feathers

 

Last week I showed you the basic hooked on feathers. I also showed you the book Hooked on Feathers by Sally Terry. We are going to continue working with this basic hooked on feather, but I am going to show you another book and some feathers from this book.


The book that I have taken the next few feather examples from is:

Whimsical and Funky Feathers
by Irena Bluhm
This is a great book to inspire you and help you with taking your feathers to a new place.

 

 

Here you can see that I have shown and stitched out a few different feathers.

It is aways good to practice stitching out different feathers you never now when you will need to do them.

 

 

 

 I am going to show you two videos today. The first is talking about the two books that I mentioned. The second video is showing you how to draw out some of the feathers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have done a few of these feathers on a project.

 

 

 

 

We are almost finished with the drawing portion of these videos, and then I will show you how I stitched them out with the machine.
