Learning to do hooked on feathers.

In the next few posts I am going to show how to do” hooked on feathers” and how to dress them up.

I thought I would start with the basic hooked on feathers today, and then dress them up in the next posts starting on Monday.

Hooked on feathers is a book out by Sally Terry. I attendant a lecture that Sally gave a few years ago and she talked and showed her Hooked on Feathers. I bought her book and have been practicing her feathers on paper. I have done a little on the machine but not on a quilt as of yet.

I like these feathers because you do not have to do any back tracking with them.

 

 

 

Get out your paper and start practicing you may like these feathers better because you do not have to do any back tracking.
